The voucher catch
Part of last year's Black Friday offer came as a voucher to spend later rather than money off straight away. According to Sports Direct's help pages, the voucher could be used from 8 December if you paid with Frasers Plus, its credit account, or not until 5 January if you paid any other way. It then stayed valid for two years. If a deal includes a voucher, value it as a future discount, not cash off today's order.
Frasers Plus
Frasers Plus also gave early access to some discounts. It's a credit account, with a representative APR of 29.9% on balances that aren't paid off in time. A Black Friday saving disappears quickly once interest is added, so only use it if you'll clear the balance in the interest-free period.
