The short version
- You don’t need an account, and we don’t ask for your name or email to use the site.
- Our website doesn’t set cookies for visitors, and we don’t use tracking or advertising tools.
- When you click through to a retailer, the retailer and its affiliate network may set cookies on their own sites, so they can pay us a commission.
Who we are

Information collected when you visit
Like every website, ours runs on servers provided by a hosting company. To deliver pages and keep the site secure, those servers automatically record technical details of each visit: your IP address, the type of browser and device, the page requested, and the time. We don’t use these records to identify you. They are kept for a short period by our hosting provider and then deleted.
Why we can do this: it’s in our legitimate interests to run a working, secure website.
When you click an offer
Our “Get code” and “Get deal” buttons send you to the retailer through our own link. Often the journey also passes through an affiliate network, such as Awin. The retailer and the network may then set cookies, on their own websites, to record that you arrived from us, so we can be paid a commission if you buy.
Those cookies are set by them, not by us, and their own privacy policies apply. We don’t receive your name, contact details or what you bought. The reports we get show that a sale happened and its value, without saying who made it.
When you copy a discount code
The code is copied using your own browser. Nothing about it is sent to us.
If you email us
We’ll have your email address and whatever you write, and we use them only to reply and to deal with what you asked. We keep emails for up to 24 months, then delete them, unless we need them longer to resolve an issue.
Why we can do this: it’s in our legitimate interests to answer the messages people send us.
Cookies
blackfridaydealsuk.co.uk doesn’t set any cookies for visitors, so there’s nothing to accept or turn off on our site. The only cookie we use is a login cookie for the people who run the site, set only when they sign in to our private admin area. It’s strictly necessary for that login to work, and it’s never set for anyone browsing offers. The cookies described under “When you click an offer” are set by retailers and affiliate networks after you leave us. If we ever add cookies or analytics, we’ll update this policy first and ask for your permission where the law requires it.
Who we share information with
Only the companies that host our website and database, who process it on our instructions and for no other purpose. Some of them may store data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is protected by safeguards approved under UK data protection law. We never sell your information.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct information that’s wrong;
- delete your information;
- stop or limit how we use it.
Email hello@blackfridaydealsuk.co.uk and we’ll reply within one month. If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
This site is for adults shopping in the UK. It isn’t aimed at children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
