Argos starts its Black Friday sale with 1,800+ deals and a Price Guarantee to Christmas
Argos started its Black Friday 2026 sale on Friday 30 October, with more than 1,800 discounted products across tech, home, toys and DIY. It's one of the first big retailers to launch, nearly four weeks before Black Friday on 27 November.

Expect the sale to grow
The first products are only the start. According to MoneySavingExpert, last year's Argos sale launched with just over 2,000 products and grew to around 10,000 by late November. If what you want isn't reduced yet, it may well be added in the coming weeks.
How the Argos Price Guarantee works
Products marked with the Price Guarantee won't go any lower at Argos before Christmas Day, according to Argos. If one does, it gives you the difference as a voucher.
- It only covers a lower price at Argos itself, not a cheaper price at another shop.
- The difference comes back as an Argos voucher, not money, so it's only useful if you'll shop there again.
- It runs to 25 December, much longer than most retailers' Black Friday guarantees. Currys' guarantee, for comparison, covers price drops up to 1 December and needs registering by 27 November.
Are the prices good?
Some are genuinely competitive. When MoneySavingExpert checked on 30 October, a Shark cordless stick vacuum was £150 at Argos, against £229.99 at the next cheapest seller, which was Shark's own website. Others were matched elsewhere or cheaper at other shops, so it's still worth comparing the exact model before buying.
