O2 Black Friday Sale 2026

Phone deals: split contracts

O2 sells phones on a split contract: one agreement for the phone itself and a separate one for your airtime. That means once the phone is paid off, your bill drops to the airtime alone, rather than carrying on at the same price. When comparing a Black Friday phone deal with other networks, look at what you'll pay in total over the phone agreement and how long it lasts.

Before you sign up

• O2 contracts include a yearly price rise set out in pounds and pence, so add it to the cost of a 24-month deal.
• Tesco Mobile and giffgaff also use O2's network, often at lower prices, and Tesco Mobile's Clubcard Price deals come with frozen prices.
