Jet2 and easyJet holidays go head to head with rival Black Friday offers
Two of the biggest UK package holiday companies launched their Black Friday 2026 sales on the same day, 29 October, with very different offers. Which one saves you more depends on how many people are travelling and how much the holiday costs.

The two offers
Jet2holidays is taking £100 per person off all holidays, for departures from this winter through to summer 2028. Flights booked on their own get up to 20% off.
easyJet holidays has a tiered discount per booking with the code BLKFRIDAY: £50 off holidays of £500 or more, £100 off £800 or more, £200 off £2,000 or more and £400 off £4,000 or more. It applies to bookings made by 11pm on 1 December, for travel up to the end of October 2028.
Which is better for you?
- A family of four on a £2,400 holiday: Jet2 saves £400 (£100 each), easyJet holidays saves £200.
- A couple on a £1,200 holiday: Jet2 saves £200, easyJet holidays saves £100.
- A couple on a £4,200 holiday: Jet2 saves £200, easyJet holidays saves £400.
In short, Jet2's per-person discount suits families and groups, while easyJet's tiers favour expensive holidays for fewer people. The discount is only part of the picture, though: compare the full price of the same hotel and dates on both, because the starting prices differ.
What's included
Both include flights, accommodation and luggage, both offer deposits from £60 per person, and as package holidays from the UK both come with ATOL protection. easyJet holidays includes transfers on beach holidays; Jet2holidays includes transfers too, and offers free child places at many hotels, which can be worth more than either Black Friday discount for families.
Still to come
TUI hasn't launched yet. Last year its Black Friday sale started on 14 November, with up to £300 off per booking, so it may be worth checking before you book.
