Currys launched its Black Friday 2026 sale on Wednesday 28 October, a month before Black Friday itself on 27 November. The sale runs until Tuesday 1 December, with up to 40% off TVs, laptops, appliances, vacuums and kitchen gadgets, and more than 1,500 products included at launch.

That's one day earlier than last year, when Currys started its Black Friday sale on 29 October.

The Black Friday Price Guarantee is back

The most useful part of the Currys sale is its Price Guarantee, which takes the risk out of buying early:

  • Buy a product marked as a Black Friday deal between 28 October and 24 November.
  • If Currys lowers its price again before 1 December, you can claim back the difference.
  • You have to register your purchase by 27 November to qualify.

The registration step is the one people miss. If you're buying something expensive in the next few weeks, register it the same day, so you're covered if the price drops later in November.

Will the sale get bigger?

Probably. Last year the Currys sale grew from around 2,900 products when MoneySavingExpert first checked to more than 6,000 by Black Friday. If the product you want isn't in the sale yet, it may be added later in November.

Is everything a genuine bargain?

Not necessarily. MoneySavingExpert found that some big-brand deals in the Currys sale were matched by other retailers, so it's worth checking the same model at AO.com and elsewhere before you buy. Currys' own Price Promise will also match a lower price from another UK retailer, subject to its terms.

Phones are sold through Carphone Warehouse, which is part of Currys and has its own Black Friday prices on contracts and SIM-only plans.
